How much does it cost to join the Spring Hill Wrestling Club?
*Your $150 registration fee includes a USA Wrestling membership card and club t-shirt. Checks should be made out to Springstead Wrestling. Parents can register and pay for their kids at the first practice.
**Parents who have already purchased a USA wrestling card before the 1st practice will have a discounted membership fee of $40. See the www.floridausawrestling.org or use the link on the home page to get your card.
***$25 discount for second child membership.
Get a $10 discount for joining Springstead Wrestling on FACEBOOK. I will be able to check on this.

When and Where?
*All age divisions will practice on Tuesdays and Thursdays. All practices will be held at Springstead High School in the wrestling room.
**Practice for BEGINNERS (0 - 1 YEARS EXPERIENCE) 5:30pm– 6:30pm.
***Practice for wrestles with 2 OR MORE YEARS OF EXPERIENCE is from 6:30pm to 8:00pm.
Wrestlers at both practices will be paired off with other kids their age and weight.

Grades: 1st through 8th: PLEASE NO 4 or 5 YEAR OLDS. 1ST GRADE IS THE YOUNGEST WE CAN TEACH.
What should I wear to practice?
Shirt, shorts, and wrestling shoes. Please wear socks if you do not have wrestling shoes yet. Also a lot of kids wear head gear to protect their ears.
Where can I buy wrestling gear?
Equipment can be found at Sports Authority, by visiting websites, or buying from catalogs.
USA Wrestling Card?
This card provides the wrestler with insurance. YOU WILL NEED THIS TO PARTICIATE IN MOST FLORIDA EVENTS.
Role of the Parent:
We ask that all parents of kids 6 – 10 stay to watch and encourage their kids. This is a great way to learn the sport, understand the terminology, and provide a positive atmosphere for the kids.
Tournaments:
A schedule of events will be posted and it is strongly encouraged to have you child participate in tournaments. Most kids brand new to the sport or experienced have a great time…so do the parents.
